COL / HUDDLESERIES PREVIEW

BRIEF TEACHING · REAL CONVERSATION · SHARED PRACTICE

Develop the team
inside the ministry rhythm.

NextGen Team Huddles are being developed as brief, ready-to-lead experiences that help volunteer and staff teams grow together without adding another full training event to the calendar.

THE WORKING HUDDLE RHYTHM

A repeatable shape leaders can carry into a real team meeting.

Four useful movements: reconnect with the purpose, explore one idea, hear the team, and choose something to practice. The series is still in development; individual huddles may use different timing.

01 / CENTER

Remember the why.

Open with a short Scripture, story, or ministry moment that reconnects the team to the people and purpose behind the work.

SERIES PREVIEW

02 / TEACH

Name one idea.

Offer a focused leadership or ministry principle in language a leader can deliver naturally without teaching a full lesson.

SERIES PREVIEW

03 / DISCUSS

Make room for the team.

Use one or two honest questions that connect the idea to what volunteers and staff are actually seeing.

SERIES PREVIEW

04 / PRACTICE

Choose the team move.

Name one shared commitment, clarify what follow-through looks like, and close by praying for the people and responsibility entrusted to the team.

SERIES PREVIEW

THE SERIES STANDARD

Ready to lead should still sound human.

01

Brief enough for the real calendar.

The format should fit the moments leaders already have without treating development as disposable.

02

Specific enough to discuss.

A huddle should name recognizable ministry reality—not rely on broad inspiration that leaves the team with nothing to say.

03

Flexible across NextGen contexts.

Examples and prompts should be usable across children’s, student, family, camp, and volunteer-team settings.

04

Built for multiplication.

The leader guide should help another team leader facilitate well rather than requiring Carlo to be in the room.

WHERE THINGS STAND

The series is taking shape.

The finished huddles will grow from Carlo’s teaching and leadership work. This page previews the approach; a huddle pack and release date are not available yet.

About this preview
  • Recordings will only be used after Carlo selects and approves the source material.
  • Private stories, names, internal ministry details, and sensitive context will be removed or rewritten.
  • Transcripts will be edited for clarity while preserving Carlo’s natural teaching voice.
  • No huddle pack, series length, format, or release date is final until the archive review is complete.

The next milestone begins with Carlo’s voice-note archive.

Selected recordings will be inventoried, transcribed, grouped by theme, and shaped into a small pilot set. Carlo will approve the language and teaching intent before the series moves into final design.
